Area Crash Claims Lives Of Mother, 4-Year-Old Child

A mother and her young child were killed in a crash near Mount Calm Monday, April 15.

Robinson Police Department had asked for the public's help in locating 33-year-old Lauren Bonvillian and four-year-old Savannah Bagley after they were last seen leaving Corsicana on the way to Robinson at 10 p.m. Sunday in a blue 2020 Toyota Corolla.

Robinson police announced Monday night that the bodies of the mother and child had been discovered.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Sergeant Ryan Howard said that DPS troopers responded to a crash site on State Highway 31 near County Line Road, southwest of Mount Calm, at about 7 p.m. Monday. Howard said that the westbound Toyota left the roadway and overturned.

Howard reported Tuesday that the investigation was active and ongoing.
