The Hillsboro City Council met in a regular session Tuesday, April 2, and discussed a zoning change related to a planned subdivision.
The plans submitted by S&S Ross Development will include 519 single-family lots developed in three phases on approximately 127 acres south of Hillsboro Intermediate School.
The proposed change will create a new increased density single-family residential overlay zoning classification. The overlay allows up to a 10-foot difference in the minimum lot width and depth requirements of the single-family residential zoning.
