Hillsboro High School recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art woodshop featuring two industry-standard computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
The new woodshop comes after a devastating fire in September 2022 that destroyed the previous shop, including machines, projects and part of a classroom.
“The fire was heartbreaking,” said Kyle Davis, Hillsboro High School’s woodshop teacher. “At the time, I didn’t know how to handle the loss. It was a rise from the ashes and an opportunity to start all over.”
